Accidents and breakdowns happen everywhere. Mayor of Tbilisi said, while responding to the statement made by GNERC regarding the emergency power outages across Georgia on July 24 and 25.

As he noted, such incidents can happen at any time in any country; the most important thing is a timely response.

"I recall when I was the Minister of Energy, there was an incident where the entire Georgia was left without electricity, which was connected to the "Imereti" 500-kilovolt power transmission line. These types of incidents happen everywhere, including European cities. It is unfortunate, but it is good that a timely and appropriate response was made", - said Kakha Kaladze.
