According to the Mayor of Tkibuli, the number of destroyed houses in the disaster zone has increased as landslide processes remain in an active phase.
As he noted, the future action plan will be determined following the geologists` conclusion.
"Landslide processes in the disaster zone are active. Additional groups of specialists have joined the geologists and are already investigating the ongoing processes on-site. The Emergency Management Service is conducting 24-hour monitoring. An emergency headquarters has been established and is operating around the clock.
According to this morning`s information, the number of destroyed houses has increased due to the active nature of the ongoing processes. We are awaiting the final results from the geologists, which will determine our future plan", - said David Kublashvili.
