I’ve stopped THREE nuclear wars’ as he lays down gauntlet to Russia - Donald Trump declares

Donald Trump has claimed to have stopped three nuclear wars as he laid down a message to Russia over atomic weapons, writes gbnews.com.

Mr Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to make a defiant statement about the US military and its nuclear capabilities. He said: “I have stopped nuclear wars from breaking out across the world between Pakistan and India, Iran and Israel, and Russia and Ukraine”.

India, however, has denied the US played a part in the ceasefire between it and Pakistan, which was enacted last year. India’s defence minister Rajnath Singh said last year it was “completely incorrect and baseless to say that the military action was stopped because of pressure”.

Last year’s ceasefire between Iran and Israel commenced on June 24 last year, Mr Trump confirmed on Truth Social. Although both sides denied that a ceasefire was agreed to, one was held nonetheless. In response to the ceasefire announcement, Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi last year said: “As of now, there is NO ‘agreement’ on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations.” He added that if Israel stopped military action by 4am, Iran would not continue military operations, which it has held.
