Price regulation on products and reduction of social burden for citizens - work on the initiative of the Prime Minister continues. A meeting of Irakli Kobakhidze and representatives of distribution companies is currently starting in the government administration.

This will be the third meeting in a row within the framework of the Government Coordination Commission. Two days ago, the Prime Minister already met with representatives of chain markets. In parallel, in order to study the process of price formation, the State Security Service and the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance are checking documentation in supermarket chains and distribution companies.

The commission, created at the initiative of the Head of Government, plans to study the market for medicines and fuel in addition to food.
