Police detained Olympic champion Zurab Zviadauri

Olympic champion Zurab Zviadauri has been detained. The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the reports to Rustavi 2.

According to the agency, Zviadauri is currently being held under Article 236 of the Criminal Code [the illegal possession, acquisition, and carrying of firearms].

The arrest took place in Tbilisi.
