As a result of immediate operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Vake-Saburtalo Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested Z.H., born in 1985, on charges inflicting grave injuries to health on purpose.

The committed crime envisions from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on July 1 of the current year, in Tbilisi, on the basis of conflict, the accused person stabbed R.A., born in 1982, in the chest with a cold steel and fled the scene.

The wounded person is being treated in the medical facility.

As a result of operational measures, law enforcement officers arrested Z.H. shortly after the incident – as a result of immediate activities.

The investigation is in progress under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to inflicting grave injuries to health on purpose.
