The President of Georgia has called an extraordinary session of Parliament.

"Mikheil Kavelashvili, in accordance with Article 44, Paragraph 2 of the Constitution of Georgia, upon the request of the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, convened an extraordinary session of the Parliament from July 1", - reads the released statement.

The President signed the relevant decree.
