The 125th branch of the Public Service Hall (PSH), located in Sagarejo, was opened by Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, together with Justice Minister Paata Salia and Public Service Hall Chairman Vakhtang Zhvania.
From now on, users will be able to access up to 500 services in a building distinguished by its unique architecture and modern interior. The branch is fully adapted to meet the needs of people with disabilities.
Up to 20 local residents are employed at the new Public Service Hall. The branch also accommodates the offices of Legal Entities of Public Law (LEPLs) under the Ministry of Justice, which had previously operated in outdated facilities.
There are 19 Public Service Halls across the Kakheti region, including Sagarejo, while the Mobile PSH serves 15 villages in the area.
Ensuring access to state services is a key priority for the Ministry of Justice, and the Public Service Hall delivers on this commitment throughout Georgia. Citizens living far from district centers are served by the innovative "Mobile Public Service Hall" project, which operates in 90 villages nationwide.
Notably, access to services is set to improve even further, as construction works of seven new Public Service Halls - in Akhmeta, Khelvachauri, Tbilisi (Gldani), Mtskheta, Chala, Zoti, and Tolebi – are now underway.
The opening ceremony in Sagarejo was attended by members of the legislative branch, deputy ministers of justice, heads of LEPLs, the state representative in the Kakheti region, representatives of local government, and invited guests.
