Government submits to the President candidacy of Khatia Tsilosani for the position of Georgia`s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe.

The Government of Georgia officially submitted to the President the candidacy of Khatia Tsilosani for the position of Permanent Representative of Georgia to the Council of Europe.

The corresponding decree has been published on the official website of the Government Administration. The appointment now awaits formal approval by Mikheil Kavelashvili, President of Georgia.

Khatia Tsilosani was a Georgian Dream MP in the 10th convocation of the Parliament from 2020 to 2024. From 2023 to 2024, she was a member of Georgia`s delegations to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and a substitute delegate to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). From 2019 to 2020, she served as Georgia`s Deputy Agriculture Minister. Before that, she held other leading positions in the Ministry since 2017.
