Customs officers at the "Red Bridge" prevented an attempt to smuggle an especially large quantity of medications containing narcotic substances

Customs officers of the "Red Bridge" Customs Checkpoint of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, in coordination with employees of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, prevented an attempt to import a medicinal product containing a particularly large quantity of narcotic substance, as part of jointly conducted customs procedures and investigative activities.

The Georgian citizen had the medication "Paraferin" (240 capsules), which is subject to special control, placed in travel bags.

For further response, the case was handed over to the relevant unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
