Sarpi Customs Officers prevent attempts to import firearms and ammunition

Customs officers of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, at the Sarpi Customs Crossing Checkpoint, prevented attempts to import a firearm, two magazines and 98 rounds of ammunition that had been concealed in vehicles driven by foreign nationals.

The items were discovered during detailed inspections of the vehicles.

The case materials concerning all three offenders were handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for further action.
