External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 5 619.1 million in January-March 2025, 16.2 percent higher year-on-year, reads the report of GeoStat.

The value of export increased by 5.7% reaching USD 1 401.2 million, while the import increased by 20.1% and amounted to USD 4 217.9 million. The trade deficit equaled USD 2 816.7 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 50.1%.
