Georgian Minister of Justice held a high-level meeting with Zhuang Rongwen, the director of the cyberspace administration of China, to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation in the digital realm.

As it was emphasized at the meeting, the Ministry of Justice of Georgia stands as one of the nation’s largest providers of both public and private sector services. Consequently, strengthening ties with China’s cyberspace administration is expected to significantly enhance the potential of both countries in cybersecurity and technological innovation.

Paata Salia introduced his Chinese counterpart to Georgia’s strategic principles for raising cybersecurity awareness.

The parties also discussed the use of artificial intelligence, the implementation of mobile applications and digital identity projects.

Salia invited the Chinese delegation to the United Nations Public Service Forum, which will be hosted by Tbilisi on June 23-25, 2026.
