Georgian and Chinese Sports Ministers sign memorandum of cooperation

Georgian Minister of Sports Shalva Gogoladze met with the Minister of Sports of the People`s Republic of China, Gao Zhidan, during his official visit to China.

At the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation, which aims to deepen relations between the two countries in the field of sports.

The signed memorandum provides holding joint gatherings, strengthening cooperation in international sports events, and close ties between sports organizations and associations of the two countries.

The working meeting of the sports ministers was also attended by Deputy Minister Irakli Dolaberidze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to China Paata Kalandadze, President of the Table Tennis Federation Guram Gogoladze, representatives of the Ministries of Sports of China and Georgia and the Embassy of Georgia.
