According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia, due to difficult meteorological conditions, in particular, blizzards and limited visibility, all types of road traffic are temporarily restricted on the Gudauri (Posta) - Kobi section of the Mtskheta – Stepantsminda - Larsi highway of international importance.

The movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited on the Kareli transport hub - Boriti transport hub section of the Tbilisi – Senaki - Leselidze highway.

As for other directions, due to intense snowfall and difficult meteorological conditions, special traffic regimes have been imposed on certain sections of the highways.

In particular, due to loose ice, heavy snowfall and difficult meteorological conditions, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the following roads: Gomi – Sachkhere – Chiatura - Zestafoni, Khashuri - Vale Customs section, Koda – Partskhisi – Manglisi – Tsalka - Ninotsminda road km1-km42 (Koda - village Algeti) and km110-km146 sections, Akhaltsikhe - Ninotsminda and Akhalkalaki - Kartsakhi roads, Sachkhere - Oni road, Nakerala pass and Zugdidi – Jvari – Mestia - Lasdili road Jvari - Ushguli section.

Due to the avalanche danger, heavy snowfall, poor visibility and blizzard, all types of vehicle traffic are temporarily restricted: on the Nichbisi – Didgori - Didi Toneti highway, on the Paravani pass, on the Batumi - Akhaltsikhe highway, on the resort Goderdzi - Utkisubani section, on the Kala - Ushguli and Mele - Lasdili sections.

Vehicle traffic is free on the remaining sections of the highways.
