Customs officers of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance`s customs checkpoint "Tbilisi Airport" in coordination with the officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, as a result of a joint operation, discovered a particularly large amount of the drug "cocaine".

As a result of a detailed inspection of the hand luggage of a foreign citizen stopped on suspicion by a customs officer, up to 300 grams of the drug "cocaine" packed in three hermetic packages were detected.

The case materials were transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia for further action.
