Occupation of our territories remains the main challenge, we must do everything we can to build a united, strong, developed and peaceful Georgia together with our Abkhazian and Ossetian brothers and sisters - President

President of Georgia delivered his annual address to Parliament, identifying the Russian occupation of historic Georgian territories as the primary challenge.

"Georgia`s path to reunification lies through economic strength and peaceful dialogue… The Government`s messages remain consistent and transparent regarding the occupied regions of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region.

We must do everything in our power to build a unified, strong, developed, and peaceful Georgia together with our Abkhaz and Ossetian brothers and sisters. Our actions demonstrate that we do not merely speak of peace, but actively work to ensure it - something that can become a crucial precondition for restoring trust and rebuilding broken bridges.

A policy of peace, economic advancement, and a high standard of living is the path that will inevitably guide us to the ultimate reunification of our country and people. Our shared history, culture, and values strengthen our belief in this", - said Mikheil Kavelashvili.
