Georgia is the frontrunner among candidate countries, and this is an indisputable truth reflected in objective findings, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday told journalists, responding to questions about the Rule of Law Index recently published by the European Commission.
“Where evaluations are based on objective circumstances, facts, and arguments, Georgia consistently holds leading positions. In this case, it’s no surprise. The rule of law in Georgia is the most protected in the region. Among candidate countries, Georgia is the frontrunner and a leading country.
This is an indisputable truth, reflected in objective conclusions. This differs from the crude, politically motivated statements that politicians and bureaucrats often make. These are standard cases we frequently see. This is a double standard demonstrated by European bureaucracy”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
