Police in Tbilisi detained 4 people for inflicting less serious damage to health and group violence

Officers of Old Tbilisi Police Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested 4 people on charges of inflicting less serious damage to health on purpose and group violence: Z.T., born in 2004, N.D., born in 2000, Sh.Sh., born in 1990, and R.M., born in 1997.

The investigation established that on February 7 of the current year, on the basis of a mutual dispute, the defendants intentionally inflicted less serious injury to V.A., born in 1990, and physically assaulted P.K., born in 1988, and G.Z., born in 1990 in Tbilisi.

The injured men were transferred to the clinic for appropriate medical assistance.

As a result of the operational measures and investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, all four persons accused of the crime were arrested on the spot. The investigation is underway under Article 118, Part II and Article 126, Part II, Subparagraphs "b" and "c" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisions the imprisonment for a term of up to 6 years.
