Inspectors of the Kakheti Department of the National Food Agency, based on a notification received on the hotline, conducted an unscheduled inspection of a confectionery factory.

Critical and non-critical non-conformities were identified within the framework of state control. Individual entrepreneur L. N. (address: Hereti St. N43, Dedoplistskaro Municipality) was preparing confectionery products in violation of sanitary and hygienic norms, labeling rules and other requirements for food safety.

Measures provided by law were taken for the identified violations, the business operator was fined, and the production process was suspended until the non-conformities were eliminated. The citizen from whom the hotline report was received was informed in writing of the results of the unscheduled inspection.
