Today we pay tribute to the outstanding Georgian fighters of our era, the heroes of Shindisi, who performed an act of indescribable heroism, said the President of Georgia in Shindisi.

“It is their very heroism that instils in us the conviction that Georgia is immortal and eternal. Once again, glory and honour to their souls and names. I met the parents of the Shindisi heroes and personally thanked them for bringing up such worthy sons of the fatherland.

We are truly proud of the heroism of these men, but we must know and feel their deeds daily, so that we instill in our lives - especially in our children and our future generation - the very spirit with which our Shindisi heroes fought and lived. It is our obligation to ensure that everyone always remembers their actions and heroism”, - said Mikheil Kavelashvili.
