On August 9, a historical record of 306 arrivals and departures in a single day was registered at Georgian airports, marking a new historical high. This information was released by EUROCONTROL, the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation.
The new figure is 4.8% higher than the previous record, which was recorded on July 26 of this year and stood at 292 arrivals and departures. According to EUROCONTROL data, 6 new records were established across the European air network last week, including one at Georgian airports.
