According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure, based on the contract signed with the Roads Department of Georgia, “China Road and Bridge Corporation” carried out the construction works on the Vaziani-Sagarejo (Lot 1) km4-km27 section.

Within the scope of these works, the company completed the testing of the lighting system ahead of schedule.

Consequently, vehicular traffic is already open in both directions on the section passing from km24 (Vaziani transport junction) to km57 (Tokhliauri transport junction) of the Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi highway of international importance.
