According to the National Environmental Agency, from the second half of November 7 until the morning of November 9, precipitation is expected across most of Western Georgia, with occasionally heavy intensity in the Adjara and Guria regions.
Thunderstorms, strong winds, a 4–5 magnitude storm at sea, heavy snow, blizzards, and fog in some high-mountain zones are possible. Due to heavy snow, blizzards, and poor visibility, traffic movement may be restricted on certain sections of highways.
The expected heavy precipitation may cause a significant rise in water levels in the lower reaches of the rivers and their tributaries in Adjara-Guria, initiate or activate landslide and mudflow processes in hilly and mountainous zones, and lead to localized flooding in urban areas (danger level - medium).
