The United States Embassy in Tbilisi has issued an official statement regarding a meeting between US Chargé d’Affaires Courtney Austrian and Georgia’s Minister of Finance, Lasha Khutsishvili.

As the Embassy said, talks centred on bilateral economic ties and critical infrastructure initiatives along the Middle Corridor.

“US Chargé d’Affaires Courtney Austrian met with Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili to discuss economic ties between the United States and Georgia, including the development of Middle Corridor infrastructure and further commercial opportunities for American companies”, - writes the Embassy.

Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili hosted the US Chargé d’Affaires for the bilateral talks on 4 November.
