Within the framework of customs control, customs officers of the Batumi Clearance Economic Zone revealed the facts of an attempt to illegally import 59 luxury cars worth approximately 5 million euros.

Based on suspicion, an authorized person checked the data and determined the fact of changing the identification code assigned by the manufacturer, the so-called VIN code. The case materials were transferred to the relevant service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for further response.
