The trial of former Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze, his deputy Giorgi Khaindrava, and his relative Vasil Mkheidze is underway at the Tbilisi City Court.

The prosecution witnesses are being questioned. Burchuladze is charged with abuse of office and legalization of illegal income.

The crime carries a sentence of 7 to 11 years in prison.
