The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure has announced a competition for the design of a natural-surface stadium in Bolnisi, corresponding to UEFA Category III, designed for 4,500 spectators.

The new sports infrastructure, along with football matches, should also be considered for rugby games.

According to international football and rugby standards, the stadium should have dressing rooms for teams and referees, showers, conference and medical spaces, a media center and commercial facilities.

"A parking lot adapted for people with special needs should be provided on the territory of the stadium. The new Bolnisi stadium will be provided with modern irrigation, security, lighting and audio-visual systems for broadcasting", - reads the project.
