Employees of the Main Directorate for Organized Crime Combat of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained 4 Turkish nationals wanted under Interpol red notices for serious offences.

The suspects were wanted by Turkish law enforcement authorities on charges including abduction, robbery, premeditated murder, illegal possession of firearms, assault causing injury, intimidation, traffic violations, drug offences, and document forgery.

Law enforcement officers apprehended the wanted individuals at different times in Batumi and Tbilisi during investigative operations.

Extradition proceedings, as provided by law, are now underway.
