The Investigation Department of the Tbilisi Prosecutor`s Office has initiated an inquiry into the death of a State Security Service employee.

"The investigation has launched into the death of an employee of the Anti-Corruption Agency within the State Security Service of Georgia, under Article 115 of the Criminal Code.

This morning, the employee was found dead in his vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. During the scene investigation, a firearm belonging to the deceased and a letter found on the passenger seat were recovered.

Relevant urgent investigative measures are currently underway", - reads the statement of the Prosecutor`s Office.
