"Today, the first meeting of the governmental coordination commission on food prices was held. It was noted and decided that the commission will work not only on food prices, but also on the prices of medicines and fuel, which are also very important for our population.

We believe that the commission will complete its work by the end of April. In parallel, the relevant group in Parliament will examine the issue, and jointly, in coordination with Parliament, we believe we will achieve the desired results… Our expectation is that price reductions will begin during the process as well. Also, what is very important is that we will provide the public with detailed information on what these prices include, where markups exist, and where markups are illogical and do not correspond to existing European practice", - said Levan Zhorzholiani.
