The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Georgia, Ali Yousef Abdulrahman Al Mulla.

Maka Botchorishvili congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his future endeavours.

The meeting focused on issues of bilateral cooperation and explored opportunities for deepening trade and economic relations between the two countries.

The parties expressed their readiness to further intensify cooperation and underscored the importance of exchanging high-level visits.

It was noted that political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries are scheduled to be held in Tbilisi at the end of January this year, which will make a significant contribution to shaping the agenda for future cooperation.
