"On January 5, the official ceremony of transferring to the temporary trustee of Georgia in Ukraine Irakli Abesadze, the authorized representative of the Sumy Military Administration of 9 industrial generators of different capacities in the amount of over USD 553 000 allocated by the Georgian government to provide the livelihoods of victims of the Russian aggression in the regions of Ukraine was held.
In the face of daily terrorist attacks and severe cold weather, this humanitarian aid is extremely important and timely. It will allow to strengthen the vitality of Sumy region, which is in the zone of daily threat from the Russian enemy, facing brutal attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians.
Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the Georgian government has already sent to Ukraine 27 powerful generators for social and infrastructure facilities Kyiv Lviv, Kharkiv, Mykolaev and Gostomel, as well as 9 for the Sumy region", - read the statement.
