World Breastfeeding Week marked in August

In order to promote optimal infant nutrition and healthy growth and development, World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated in August.

In connection with the week, a workshop was held, organized by the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, where the importance of breastfeeding and the challenges existing in this direction in Georgia were discussed.
