Mariam Kvrivishvili got acquainted with the presentation of "Expo 2027 Belgrade"

Within the framework of a visit to Belgrade, Serbia, Georgian Minister of Economy explored the Belgrade Exhibition Centre, where she attended a multimedia presentation of the upcoming international exhibition – Expo 2027.

The Western Balkans region will host such a high-level international exhibition for the first time from April 15 to August 15, 2027. The theme of the exhibition is "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All".

Georgia will be among the countries to participate in Expo 2027, showcasing its accomplishments in culture and sports to the international audience.

Georgia`s participation in the exhibition will help increase the country`s popularity in Serbia and the Balkans, as organisers expect over 4 million visitors to attend the fair during its 93-day run.

Direct flights with Belgrade contributed to cooperation between Georgia and Serbia in the tourism sector. During Expo 2027, hundreds of thousands of visitors will obtain information about Georgia`s culture and historical heritage and will become interested in Georgia. The opportunities that Serbia offers to Expo 2027 participants are impressive", - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.
