If anyone wishes to understand what the civilisational divide in Europe truly looks like, they need only watch yesterday’s session of the European Parliament, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament writes on his Facebook page.

“Instead of meaningful discussion - contempt; instead of facts - lies; instead of responsibility - a posture of civilisational superiority.

This is no longer the Europe we, Georgians, once believed to be a part of”, - adds Shalva Papuashvili.
