If someone protests something, they should not limit the rights of others. Such a statement the Mayor of Tbilisi made while commenting the planned amendments to the Law “On Assemblies and Manifestations”.

As he said, the Government in the country will have the same attitude towards this issue as in all developed countries.

“There are certain violent groups that are currently in the minority and with their actions create great inconvenience for the majority of the population. Freedom of speech and expression, which is protected in our country, is important, but conditionally, 30 people should not cast a shadow on the rights of others. We can also cite other examples of how streets were deliberately blocked and obstacles were created. Everyone’s rights must be protected in the country”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
