The city of Kharkiv came under a large-scale Russian drone attack on the evening of Sunday 23 November, killing 4 people and injuring another 13.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, said. At around 21:30, he reported that Kharkiv was under attack by Russian UAVs, with a series of explosions heard across the city. Syniehubov later added that a Russian drone strike had been recorded in Kharkiv`s Saltivskyi district.
Early reports indicated that 4 people had been killed and at least 13 injured, including two children. Syniehubov initially reported that two people had sustained injuries. He said that a fire had broken out in Kharkiv`s Shevchenkivskyi district as a result of Russian drone strikes.
Meanwhile, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that a house had been hit: "Early reports, which require confirmation, show that one person has been killed in the Shevchenkivskyi district following a strike by an enemy Shahed on a house. People have also been injured as a result of this attack on Kharkiv".
Syniehubov later confirmed the fatality.
