As a result of investigative actions, officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Central Criminal Police Department, Main Division for Combating Organized Crime, and Cybercrime Division, as a result of conducted investigative actions, arrested P.P., a citizen of Russia, born in 2007, on charges of purchase, storage and possession of pornographic material containing images of minors with prior knowledge.

The committed crime envisions the imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.

The investigative actions conducted by law enforcement officers established that the defendant had purchased, possessed and stored pornographic material containing images of minors on his personal computer with prior knowledge for personal use.

During the personal and other search activities held in detainee`s apartment, the police seized computer equipment and a mobile phone as evidence.

The investigation is in progress under Article 255, Part III of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
