A protest rally is planned on Rustaveli Avenue, which was announced at 16:00. The participants of the rally will announce the gathering at the City Council.

A few minutes ago a march began towards Rustaveli Avenue. The participants of the rally, who set off from Tbilisi State University, will be joined by supporters near the Philharmonic. They are heading towards Freedom Square.

Paata Burchuladze and the leaders of the United National Movement are in the vicinity of the Parliament building. As Burchuladze states, the participants of the march should be greeted with flags: "We should hand over the flags - today is a revolution of flags, we are taking care of the flags of Georgia".

When asked when they will make a statement, Paata Burchuladze replied: "When it is necessary, we will not ask you, in any case".
