The United Airports of Georgia has announced tenders for the construction of new passenger terminals at Mestia and Telavi airports.

The new terminal at Mestia Airport will serve approximately 50,000 passengers per year, and the new terminal at Telavi Airport will also be designed for up to 50,000 passengers.

The construction period is 24 months for Mestia Airport and 21 months for Telavi Airport.

"The new terminals will improve passenger services, promote tourism development, and increase domestic mobility in the regions", - says the United Airports of Georgia.
