According to Tata Khvedeliani, member of the political council of the "Gakharia for Georgia" party, said they always knew that "Georgia was right on the Anaklia port issue and would win in this process".

"The position of our political team is known and nothing has changed here. We always said and knew that our country was right on this issue and, accordingly, Georgia would win in these processes. As for the fact that specific people paid the amount and did not appeal, this is their personal decision. We always said that Georgia would win in this process", - said Tata Khvedeliani.

Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze`s partner - Dutch businessman Bob Meijer - has paid USD 6,584,848 to the Government of Georgia after losing an arbitration case in Washington. Although they had the legal right to appeal the decision, they chose not to do so.
