Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze held working meetings in Imereti Region. The Minister met with the leadership of Imereti Police and the Patrol Police Departments.

At the working meeting, the Minister received detailed information regarding the fight against crime and police preventive measures held in the Imereti Region.

At the meeting, the leadership of the department introduced the Minister of Internal Affairs with crime statistics and the results of the crime-solving index in the region.

Geka Geladze, along with the First Deputy Minister, Roland Meskhi and Deputy Minister, Giorgi Butkhuzi, also visited the Security Police, the Emergency Situations Management Service and Imereti Forensic-criminalistics Service, where they viewed the relevant gear, equipment and laboratories.

During his visit to Imereti region, the Minister met with employees of the Security Police and Patrol Police Departments at Kutaisi International Airport. Geka Geladze expressed gratitude towards them for their effective work.
