Tbilisi City Court sentences Nika Melia to 8 months in prison

The Tbilisi City Court has sentenced Nika Melia, one of the leaders of the Ahali party, to 8 months’ imprisonment for failing to comply with demands from Parliament’s temporary investigative commission.

He has also been barred from holding public office for 2 years.

Nika Melia did not attend the court session.
