Four new hydroelectric power plants have been built in the past 12 months, and work in this area will be further intensified, said the Prime Minister of Georgia during his annual report to the parliament.
“We have an ambitious goal in the energy direction – by 2030, we want Georgia to become a completely self-sufficient country from an energy perspective.
Recent progress includes the construction of four new hydroelectric power stations and continued gasification efforts, with 5,000 families connected to the gasification network during the reporting period”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
