As part of the security system reform, the Intelligence Service will be integrated into the Security Service.

According to the Head of the State Security Service, this change will ensure further consolidation of the security system, as well as increased coordination and efficiency.

"Similar practices are in place in a number of NATO and/or EU member states, for example, in Austria, Turkey, Canada, Lithuania, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia", - added Anri Okhanashvili.
