
Chairman of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikhanadze, and the First Deputy Chair, Giorgi Chakvetadze, met with Ilia Mushkudiani, Georgia`s Youth Representative to the United Nations.
The meeting focused on upcoming youth-related initiatives. Ilia Mushkudiani presented his future plans within the scope of his mandate to the Members of Parliament.
"Ilia Mushkudiani is the winner of the Youth Agency`s grant competition "Georgia`s Youth Representative to the UN". The competition is part of the "UN Youth Delegates" programme, which brings together young delegates from across the globe. As noted during the meeting, in September, within the framework of the UN General Assembly, Georgia`s youth representative is scheduled to deliver a speech at the international forum, where Ilia Mushkudiani will speak about key projects underway in Georgia in the field of youth policy", - said Chakvetadze.
Mikhanadze and Chakvetadze wished Mushkudiani success in his future endeavours and reaffirmed the Committee’s support for the implementation of youth projects.
Also attending the meeting were Vakhtang Baakashvili, Acting Head of the Youth Agency, and Nodar Bokeria, former Youth Representative of Georgia to the United Nations.
