In recent days, 104,484 facts of traffic violations have been identified throughout the country. Such a statement made today the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze.

"We would like to note that in accordance with the instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs, in order to reinforce road safety, the approach to violations of traffic rules by drivers of motor vehicles has been tightened.

In particular, in recent days, 104,484 facts of traffic violations have been identified throughout the country, including:

Violation of the rule of tinting vehicle windows - 682 facts;
Driving on a lane designated for buses - 4,830 facts;
Driving in the state of intoxication - 683 facts;
Illegal use of special flashing lights on a vehicle - 8 facts.

Measures envisioned by law were taken against each violator.

The police will continue to actively respond to each violation of the law.

We would like to call on those involved in traffic movement to comply with the requirements established by law and avoid violating the traffic rules.

We would like to remind the public that the police will continue the fight against crime in round-the-clock regime and take all appropriate legal measures against those violating the law", - said Aleksandre Darakhvelidze.
