Today, our number one task is to raise the well-being of our citizens. For us, economic development is on par with national interests. Such a statement made the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament.
“We continues to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Union conference. We are also holding bilateral meetings - both with representatives of European countries and with delegates from the host country and others.
When speaking with representatives of EU member states, we focus on Georgia’s vision for EU integration and the challenges caused by the activities of certain dishonest European politicians and political groups. I believe our colleagues fully understand Georgia’s experience in this regard and show absolute support.
Today, our number one task is to raise the well-being of our citizens. For us, economic development is on par with national interests. We are making use of all opportunities, including parliamentary diplomacy, to solidify Georgia’s role as a link between Europe and Asia and as one of the key transit corridors. These meetings serve that purpose as well”, - said Shalva Papuashvili.
