The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, David Songulashvili, along with the Kvemo Kartli State Representative, Ilia Jalaghaniya, visited G.B. Consulting, a company specializing in the production of modern wine-making technologies and equipment.

During the visit, company representatives briefed the Minister on the company’s operations and production processes.

Founded in 2009, G.B. Consulting LLC specializes in planning and implementing complete production cycles for wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The company manufactures stainless steel tanks of various types and capacities, as well as modern machinery and equipment required for wine production.

“The development of the winemaking sector requires the adoption of modern technologies and the strengthening of domestic manufacturing capacities. Producing winemaking equipment in Georgia makes modern technologies more accessible to the winemaking sector.

It is essential to ensure that this area continues to develop so that modern standards and technological solutions can be more widely adopted in Georgian winemaking, further enhancing the competitiveness of Georgian wine in international markets”, - said David Songulashvili.

G.B. Consulting LLC represents several European multinational companies specializing in wine and alcoholic beverage production technologies in the region.

The company has implemented dozens of winery projects both in Georgia and abroad.

As part of its operations, it has manufactured stainless steel tanks with a total capacity exceeding 100 million liters, as well as installed European-made grape-processing and wine-processing machinery and equipment and automated liquid bottling lines. The company currently employs 37 people, while, depending on the season, 25 qualified technical specialists are involved in the production process.

The Director of the Rural Development Agency, Zurab Gozalishvili, and representatives of the local authorities accompanied the Minister.
